Saturday, All around Sentosa...

Split into 6 groups, went around Sentosa to find clues to the next station

ala Amazing Race...

It was tiring but fun! Not forgetting competitive bunch of

poeple... hahahaha! what do you expect ? SSP peeps...

The weather was fine...

Thankfully we had a map to navigate...

SSP camp... June 8 till June 11 i think...

Trying really hard to remember...

Actually it was very memorable...

working in the logistic department...

Prep day...

after settling the stuffs and buying the lightsticks... and

the nightwalk recce, we sat down at Al Ameen for our late supper...

Woke up the next day and bought breakfast for

everyone... it was damn kecoh...

Me and Athira were calculating the amount and

the quantity over and over...

When the campers came, we were all set and ready...

basically, for the first day, all we did

were ice breaking games...

At night was the nightwalk... it was fun

and hell scary for the cubs... Heheheh!

Second day were the dry games and also the wet games...

and also the DangBeat night we had...

Meet up w/ Hafiz Adnan at Jurong East MRT.

Headed to City Hall and we were supposed to

go to Marina Sq's Pizza hut where the rest were,

but we bumped into them outside Marina Sq...

Ate the couples' meal w/ Hafiz and Luqluq w/ Mubs...

The girls; Farah, ShiJie and PeiJun ate their own set meals...

After our dinner, some of us bought drinks from Coffeebean

and Starbucks and we sat down near the steps of the Merlion...

Played TABOO... some were epic fail mubs... hahahaha!

Saturday

For Isk's farewell party... This time,

we had a plan...

Sentosa!

Met up w/ wan, isk, wak, apit and as at lakeside

and head to harbourfront... razi joined us from there

onwards...

Bought lunch and snacks(alot!) and took the tram

to beach station...

Settled down on wak's "srikandi";

"Indah dipandang, nyaman dipakai!"

After we had our lunch, w/o even waiting for the food

to digest, we played touch rugby w/ boys from St Andrews...

...and beach soccer...

...we left Sentosa at around 4plus and we didnt stop there...

so another round of impromptu...

...karaoke!

I'm so excited! and I just can't hide it!

Finally, after months of waiting since the last

exam paper on 26th February,

the day finally came...

Initially I wasnt really that excited...

With "get this done and over with"

attitude and after receiving the transcripts...

Trip to the zoo...

Yummie's gf, Shirin, had

8 free admission to the zoo...

The people who went were only 6...

Wasted the other 2... but nvm...

Meeting point was the zoo...

Went in and all w/ different animals in mind...

One wanted to see the white tigers, some the giraffes,

some dugongs! hahaha...

one wanted penguins and me ?

The cheetahs... hahhaaha...

Anyway walked around and we were like

We know rhinos are huge but not so huge!

MOMENTS OF MAGIC

9 APRIL

Came back from Kem Wajar... at around 6pm...

I'm supposed to reach there as early as possible

because the meeting time was before 9pm...

Went home, showered, unpack my things

and head out...

Found out that Arfie was still as home so

decided to go w/ her...

Bought some extra stuff for the party and took

a cab to the chalet...

The room was really nice and colourful...

The girls were supposed to dress as fairies and guys

as elves...

Ate pizzas and delicious chicken wings...

Overall the party was fun...

Everyone had their customes w/ them except

for me...

Since it was still possible for me to dress as an elf,

and me being a sport, I let them cut up my

favourite green topman shirt...

Ouch, it was painful but I didnt regret though... hahaha...

and i wore tights for the first time... hahahah...

April 5 till April 9

Kem WAJAR...

That's the title of this year's SPMLS FOC camp...

First time i came to school on a Sunday...

Anyway... it was the preparation day...

I was appointed as a facilitator, working together with amirah...

and all the facis came from SSP...

I wonder why... ehem ehem...

Firstly the group that we were supposed to guide

were quite reserved at first...

It was stressful but we managed to make them

feel as comfortable as possible... our group name,

SEMARAK NAGA!

I dont know what the hell it means but it has

something to do with dragons... hahaha!

Our cheers were quite different i guess...

In the first game, we came in last...

It was really dissapointing...

But as days go by, we came on top...

It felt really great...

But the SSP showcase was the one most of us

were worried : NUSA SATRIA...

Training wasnt really going well for me because

I got distracted really easily...

Memorising the lines and acting out...

are 2 different things altogether...

Thank god for people like Wan K and also the rest of

the cubs who each gave me the determination...

and how i can improve...

On the day of the showcase, i felt like it was a grand affair...

We did a great job for NUSA SATRIA and ive

yet to see the video... :X

We thanked the seniors for giving their support

and their wise words...

Last day of the camp, we had to do a skit...

I think our skit was the funniest...(BIASED!)

...and cute too.. (BIASED AGAIN!!!)

I felt that me and amirah unleased some of our group

members potential and their forte...

Some can write really poetic passages,

some can act w/o having the thought of screwing up,

some can lift up other's spirit... etc...

And there was an award for the best male faci which

I won... hahahaha... it was really unexpected...hahaha...

Its been a long time since I really enjoyed camp...

I cant wait for SSP camp... :D

Red Dot Museum, Flyer, Arab St & Jurong hill

Picked up feeza at 3plus and meet up w/ iqbal, wak and isk

under my block... I was driving while the rest were riding...

Went to the Red Dot Museum. I was shocked w/ their sudden

idea to go to a gallery... hahahaha...

Guess that they were really serious when they said

they wanted to explore the whole Island...

LED lights changes colours...

After finished walking around the area, we went

for prayers at the mosque near the Tanjong Pagar area...

Forgot the name of the mosque though...

After prayers, they parked their bikes near the mosque

and sat in the car...

Gave iqbal a chance to shine behind the wheel...

while i took some pictures...(was quite tired driving the whole time)

Next stop: Singapore Flyer

Ate at Popeye's...

There was a really big crowd though...

Funny incident happened... Couldn't stop laughing...

Basically went for friday prayers and got ready for

an event: Pesta Perdana 10

Met fiza, aisyah and liana at Jurong Point.

Took bus 157 to Caldecott hill...

Joined the rest in the Q...

Olie, shasha and cik muni were ushers for the event.

Saw Uncle Abd there too!

Surprise! surprise!

After the show, shasha drove us to celebrate my birthday.

I thought it was gonna be only me and her... hahahaa...

Thank GOD!

Sat in the car with shasha, olie, deelah, arfie and wawan.

Picked up fy and yani at raffles hospital...

I was quite shocked when i saw fy and yani

holding a cake box...

shasha and olie bought food from this indian shop

I went back to the car w/ wawan to pick up a drink and

when i came back to the table, they set up with all the candles!

Slept for a few hours and up again w/

an outing to celebrate my birthday w/ the jacks...

Initially the meeting time was at around 4 plus...

sat in my car...

The people were Isk, Wak and Iqbal...

Hafiz was the only one who didnt

turn up because he's still wearing a cast...

Going out w/ the usual suspects.

I was the only one who came late...

It was raining like mmmaaaaddd!!!

Saw Liana and Shikin...

Half way through to VIVO,

Liana and shikin grabbed my hand and blindfolded me...

Wahhh... i thought like, HEY! C'mon!

But they didnt care...

They brought me up the escalators and all leading to god knows

where... I know Vivo quite well you know...

Then liana asked me, "Do you mind getting wet?"

I can feel raindrops and they asked me to pose

Going out with the jacks are always full of

Played soccer in the morning w/ them...

its been a long long time since we last played or

Went out again in the afternoon...

Picked hafiz up at his house and met the rest;

our usual meeting point.

Went to IBP for Waks mp3 but it was only open till noon.

So off we went to Farmart.

Went to have our breakfast/lunch there.

Rafie joined us there for awhile...

A summary of what happened to me and things that affected me in 2008:

Got a better GPA compared in 2007.
Joined a club in SP, SSP.
Made new friends.
Performed a Zapin dance for the first time.
Went to the Botanic Gardens after 19 years.
Went overseas for the first time alone, without my parents.
Got another license, 2B.
Saw my friend lie in the hospital bed from ICU to CCU to ward.
Delivered pizza for a period of time.

Basically no matter how many years pass, I will still be the same old buckethead.
This happened to me recently,

I was going home around 1am, i pressed the door lift and as i was about to enter the lift,
A big dog ran out... RANDOM! i was so traumatized by that.

What are the chances of a dog, taking a lift all alone, at 1 in the morning ?!!! DAMN!

So now for the resolutions (i'm thinking as i type):
1) The perfect 21st birthday for me would be with my friends (any clique),
celebrating my birthday at Al-Majlis
2) Finish my diploma, all whole 3 years of it.
3) Part time job while waiting for NS.
4) Graduate and then to serve National Service
5) Getting another bike license, 2A.
6) A girlfriend ?
7) A Bike ?

Went for countdown w/o my jacks... So sorry... next time i promise...
Went w/ SSP friends instead, brought syida along...
Basically after countdown, missed the last train home so overnight all over...

Just came back from home.

Went to NYP for the first time in my life.

Trip to Pahang

Trip to Pahang, 19 till 21st December...

Went and meet olie at causeway point, meet up w/ the rest of the people,

apart from olie, wawan, shasha and both of my uncle and aunt,

basically the rest of the people were strangers to me...

Tried to blend in w/ the crowd and i guess for someone like me,

that's not very difficult...

Bus trip to the checkpoints were quite "kecoh", to me that is.

Altogether there were around 25 people in the "rombongan".

Took taxis to Osman Restaurant. Cheh!

most of us did not sleep.

Ate lunch and checked in the hotel...

Cleaned up and got ready for the show,

Friday Evening till Saturday Morning

Finished doing my FYP at 5pm,

the car didnt came so was kinda pissed so went to

razlie's house for the pickup...

Packed the necessary things and put everything in the car...

Didnt really know the reason for the freaking delay...

... Some of Faten's friends were already at East Coast and we're still

in Taman Jurong and its already 6pm++

Razlie and Wak got on wak's bike to pick up Haagen Daaz Cake at Vivo,

While the rest; Me, Iqbal and Faten, went to pick up Hafiz...

At Hafiz's carpark, the car stalled while he was reversing the car...

Strike one...

Next was Razi's house, w/ Isk and Hana already there...

Again at the traffic light, the car stalled yet again...

Strike two...

Near the filter lane, the car failed on us...

Faten began to panic... while the rest of us tried to solve the problem...

After all the commotion, around 8pm, Razlie family came...

We transferred the BBQ items and such and off they went to East Coast w/ Faten...

Razi walked all the way from his house to meet us at the breakdown area...

Thanks Razi...

While Isk and Hana went ahead to East Coast...

Tried to jumpstart the car w/ me behind the wheel while Hafiz, Razi and Iqbal

pushed the car from behind... the car came alive!

...but failed on us yet again at the exit to Singapore Poly...

Found out that the engine's temp was way high...

Iqbal's father came and topped up the radiator w/ water and

we decided to make a pitstop to the Clementi Mosque...

After our prayers, we set off to East Coast at around 9pm++

Reached EC at around 10pm but we were given the wrong info on the carpark...

so in the end, reached the BBQ pit at 10pm+++...

the part waiting for the 154 bus sucks hard till i changed bustops so that i can wait for the other bus, 246... but taking the train is fun, alot of eyecandy here and there and i love looking at ppl boarding from Jurong East... Some ITE girls are sooooo pleasant to look at... well, only some...

Going home is the problem... taking the 98 bus is soooo fucking stress... thats the worst part... damn it...

Last Monday and this Monday

Last Monday was Peijun's 21st Bday and there was a mini celebration

at Vivo's Secret Recipe...

On Saturday was Farah's 19th birthday...

The celebration was on Deepavali... hahhaaha...

Friday and Sunday

Spent these 2 days with SSP peeps.

On Friday, was the performance for the Chitralaka school.

On Sunday was a picnic at Hortpark.

Pictures gonna continue w/ my presentation...

Saturday

After work, met the jacks at the rendezvous point which is

black's house...

(Hafiz, Iqbal, Iskandar, Hazmi, Razlie, Faten and Me)

Played together Fifa09 on his PS3...

Ate spaghetti made by Faten...

Next was my house...

I changed to my baju kurung and surprisingly,

my father gave me the car keys... and money to top up petrol...

weeeeiiirrrddd... guess thanks to Arwen and Family... hahahahaa

So, we had a change of plans... they'll be riding this to Mr Zul's house...

The new plan was isk and wak were to ride their bikes while the rest

w/ me... picked up Asrida later on...

For the past couple of days I can't seem to access my Hotmail, why is that ?

I have emails regarding important matters that cannot be opened and read, files need to be downloaded, why ?

I have my inbox to clear and to date, 60 plus emails, why ?

...am I glad to hear that I wasn't the only one with this problem

As usual, went to the mosque.

Ate at home before setting off to grandmas's houses.

Firstly, I want to wish all of you,

SELAMAT HARI RAYA!

MAAF ZAHIR DAN BATIN!

Forgive me for all my sins,

This is the time where we should start afresh,

turning over a new leaf,

Sorry if I was rude with my actions,

jokes, etc...

...whether on purpose or not.

I'm really gonna miss the month of Ramadhan,

Putting aside the religion part where we are required to fast,

abstaining from not only food, but visuals and other forms...

Ramadhan is also the time when we get together from

different cliques of people from family, friends, social groups etc...

This is also the Ramadhan where I am guilty of not breaking fast

at home... most of the time, in all my 20 years...

Nevertheless, I hope that I will eat out less frequent next year

and also doing my Terawih more often...

insya'Allah... if I'm still able to see Ramadhan when it arrives...

Looking forward to Syawal, this is the time where I've always hoped to gain alot of weight.

From all the food I get to eat, longtong, satay, serondeng, chicken... yummy!

So hopefully, I get to gain not in terms of monetary but physically...

...and for the colour of my baju kurung ?

I am still having difficulty differentiating the colours...

It is more of a greyish, lead, granite type of colour...

hmmm... I'll post pictures soon... till then!

It was a few days ago when we were choosing the costumes for our performance and tadaa!

The day is finally here...

Saturday

After work, Aizat, Diah and me met up with Hazah at the MRT station.

Supposed to meet the rest at 4plus, don't worry, there's still time.

Vrrooommm...

Off to Punggol for my very first time!

Took the shuttle bus to Marina Country Club for our performance for the Prime Minister.

Cheh! new shades !

The theme was Back to the 60s' I think.

Met the rest there : 'Iza, Aqilah, Sahidah and Jeff

Security was tight there despite it was only the 60s'(haha!)

Given a room to do all the makeup and changing of clothes.

Break our fast and a quick rehearsal...

After the performance, took pictures...

A day filled with laughters, happiness, joy, a little nervous to some and finally the feeling of satisfaction from morning at work, till afternoon with the preparation and finally at night with the performance and finally rewarding ourselves at Mosi Cafe...

Friday

Outing with classmates on this day.
Those who went were Hafiz, Mubs, Luqluq, Pj, Sj, Farah, Diah and me.

Met Hafiz at Jurong East and off to meet the rest at Harbourfront MRT.
Supposed to meet at 3pm but we arrived at 3.15pm.

Farah came at 3.30pm...
"Guys.. 3pm at harborfrnt mrt station.. Dont b late!"

Supposed to watch Mamma Mia! at the 3.30pm slot but were told that the seats left were 2 rows from the front.

Soooooo, we bought the 6pm slot.

Hari raya is near !

Salaam my readers...!!!!

Anjat ! Annnnnjat !

Anyway, went for FYP meeting today and for dance training after that.
Performance is this Saturday at 8.30pm.

Practiced and joked around till 4plus.

Decided to tag along w/ Aizat, Diah, Jeff and 'Iza to Kampong Melayu, to choose costumes for the girls to put on this Saturday.

Took some time choosing the suitable ones and when it was done, Aizat went back to break fast at home but will be joining us again after that.
We've also told Fil and Reyza to join us after breaking fast.

Jeff and me ate kebab... Hmmm sedap...
'Iza and Diah ate Ramly Burger...

We decided to have some more food so Diah and Jeff
bought Takoyaki and I bought charquay...(i dun noe how to spell this...)

Sat somewhere else and finished up the food...

When finally Fil, Reyza and Aizat came down, we walked around geylang again.

Saw this rifle shooting game, we decided to try our luck...
Each of us taking turns shooting at the target...

Even with a little positive thinking...

Sunday

Again, outside the whole day.
Told my mum I was going to break fast at home but had a change of plans.
Called home to tell her that I wasn't going to be home.

Initially was to Arnold's so me and Diah were at City hall, planning where to kill time.

We were going to watch Hyrul performing at the Esplanades' Amphitheatre later at 8.30pm.
As we were standing there, someone tapped my shoulders and it turned out it was Hyrul.

Speaking of speak of the devil...

We called Filzah and decided that we go to Pasir Ris for Arnord's.
Dropped by Fil's house for awhile and turned out that we're eating at her house.
(Her mum cooked lontong...).
Bought bubble tea nearby and ate the lontong.

This is where I go, "Hmmmm... Sedaaapppnyyyeeeee!"

Trying real hard to be what we didn't want to be...

Did our magrib and off to the Esplanade to join the rest of SSP peeps for the concert.
The 3 of us were involved in the birthday surprise where we were going to surprise
Sarah, Hyrul and Aizat...

Bought cookies for each of them, decorated with faces which should have a resemblance of their faces.

Reached the concert in time where it was ending soon.
Not only Hyrul was performing.

Some of the SSP peeps were involved too...

They are Jeff, Shamil and Aidil...

Saw my aunt, uncle, cuzzin and 2nd cuzzins there too...
